Every dictation setup fought back. Hotkeys clashed with the app in front of us, the laptop mic sat across the room guessing at half the words, and the thought was usually gone before the tool woke up.
So we made a button with its own route and put a microphone two inches from your mouth. Six prototypes later, it was the thing we'd wanted to buy in the first place.
