Cookie Policy

Last updated 2026-08-14 · v1

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the Zeph website (zephclick.com) and the Zeph web app (app.zephclick.com), both operated by Zeph Click Ltd (company number 15274277). The Zeph companion app and the device firmware do not use web cookies.

What these technologies are

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. "Local storage" is a similar browser store that keeps small values (like your theme choice). A "pixel" is a small piece of code that reports events to a third party. We group these by what they do below.

Our marketing emails also contain an open- and click-tracking pixel (via Kit); that is not a website cookie, and we describe it in our Privacy Policy.

Our default is privacy-minimised

Our analytics run cookieless by default: until you accept cookies, they store nothing on your device and only measure anonymously. The device firmware uses none of these technologies at all.

Essential sign-in cookies on the web app are always on, because the app cannot keep you securely signed in without them.

Consent and how to change it

When required, we ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie or loading the advertising pixel, and declining is as easy as accepting. Analytics that only produce aggregate statistics may run on an opt-out basis for UK visitors under the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025; advertising cookies always require your prior opt-in. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the cookie_consent value (or your site data) and reloading, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you decline, the site still works; only the optional measurement is turned off.

Changes

We version this policy: any material change bumps the version and effective date shown at the top.
